语素意识在外国学生汉语阅读理解中的作用

摘要:

探讨了语素意识、词汇知识和句法知识在外国学生汉语阅读理解中的相对贡献。结果表明:汉语语素意识不仅对一语学习者的阅读理解是重要的,对汉语二语学习者同样是重要的。其对阅读理解的贡献虽然不及词汇知识,但却独立于词汇知识。词汇知识、句法知识和语素意识在不同水平学生的阅读理解中的作用相对稳定。本研究为理解语素意识和阅读理解的关系增添了二语阅读的新证据,并使语素意识发生作用的范围从拼音文字延伸到表意文字。

Abstract:

This study explored the functions of morphological awareness,vocabulary knowledge and syntactic knowledge for foreign students in their Chinese reading comprehension. The results showed that morphological awareness is important not only for L1 learners,but also for L2 learners. Although the contribution of morphological awareness is not as great as vocabulary knowledge in reading comprehension,it is independent of vocabulary knowledge,and its effect is stable at different levels.This study provides new evidence in L2 reading to understand the relationship between morphological awareness and reading comprehension,and extends the scope of morphological awareness study from alphabetic system to ideographic system.
